I enjoy a person-centered approach with my clients. I seek to learn more about who you are, what makes you tick, and what brought you to me. From there I work with you to identify what you want to work on to feel like your best self. I provide nurturing and affirming stances as well as direct, inquisitive, and challenging, I am skill focused to shape behaviors and help you reach your goals. I prefer an eclectic style as one size does not fit all.
I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy but transition from somatic and mindfulness based approaches, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy approaches. Sometimes you just need to talk and other times you need to learn. It depends on the day and where you are in your life.
I hope my clients feel empowered, safe, and enlightened as they learn more about themselves and how they can help themselves. My job is to help you be autonomous and graduate from therapy feeling successful and well prepared for any of life's challenges.
